Shikoku Kennel Fukumine Sou 福嶺荘
The Shikoku (Japanese 四 国 犬) is one of 6 Japanese dog breeds (Nihon Ken) and is still rare worldwide. We fell in love with this intelligent and pure breed years ago and would like to preserve the Shikoku Ken. We are a small non-profit kennel located in southeastern area of Saxony, Germany.
Our first litter at Fukumine's is planned in summer 2022 with our beautiful girl Zui.

Zui joined us at the age of 17 weeks and is still a little whirlwind to this day. She is very cuddly and always curious. Absolutely Shikoku typical, she has a strong hunting instinct and spends a lot of time examining the mouse holes on our property (sometimes quite successfully). She quickly finds contact with strangers, but can be very bitchy with other dogs.

Casper ♂
Casper joined us at the age of 10 months. He had actually already found a place in a loving family. Unfortunately, it turned out that the father of the family had developed a dog hair allergy. It was all the worse for both sides to part. Casper has a sensitive disposition, which is why the separation and the trip to Germany had taken a toll on him. In the meantime he has integrated into our family and trust in one another is growing. We are very happy to have him with us, because he is a calm and balanced male. He is particularly fond of children.
